Alone

        Being alone is not easy especially when you are young but there will be a lot of things that you can learn like learning how to do the house work, learning how to budget your money, learning how to become braver than before because you are independent.

        This year of holy week is the longest time that I had been alone. I had been alone for four days because my family had a vacation in Bicol with their relatives which I cannot go because we still have a class and there are a lot of school works that I need to do. I was a little bit depressed at home because I have no one to talk to and I have nothing to do just to used computer and watching tv; it was harder than I expected because I need to check the house before going to school and need to check the gate if it's already lock. I did not cook during this 4 days because I'm lazy to cook just for myself. I was glad that my friend invited me to go with them to Batangas because I cannot endure being alone anymore for the whole week and eating canned food for my lunch and dinner. I learned a lot during that time like learn how to budget my money because my father just gave me an allowance of two thousand pesos for the whole week so I need to budget it wisely, knowing the feelings of being alone without family; I admired those people who are living alone without any of their relatives around them because if they have a problem they don't have a person that can they can share to and a person that can comfort them; it is always been your parents that you can trust the most.

        Being independent is sometimes good to a person because he will experience all of the things that can make him become a better person.

The time that I performed in front of an audience

              Have you ever been pressure performing in front of an audience? I am sure all of us does because we are student especially during high school we had to perform when it's teacher's day and we are being shy because there will be a lot of people that will going to watch.

               During my elementary days, every year our section is required to perform when it comes to teacher's day to give thanks to our teacher and we are practicing almost everyday so that when the day come the performance will be better. The first time that I performed is on grade 2, I was one of those that has been selected to perform an ocho-ocho dance for the teacher's day and it was a very hassle because I had to attend the practice in Saturday and I lived far away from my school so my mom suggested that I lived in my Aunt's house which was very near to my school so every Friday. First, I really don't want to stay at my Aunt's home but because of my cousins which was really close to me I was convinced by her. After the practice I am teaching my cousins the dance step that the choreographer teach us and they were amazed that I can dance. When the teacher's day come I was surprised that our gym is full of people and the teacher were in front of us watching the performance. I want to back out at that time because I cannot endure the pressure until some of my classmates approach me and say "We can do this" after hearing this the pressure that I had was lessen. I was very glad that our performance went well and the teacher was very happy.

                 Doing practice is one main of the reason for you to have a good performance and I'm sure that you always heard the old saying, "Practice makes Perfect." there's no reason for you to be afraid because if you had a confident you can perform it well.

Something valuable that I lost

       I believe that each and every one of us has something that we value and I know it's hard for us to recover our feelings especially if that things are given by our love's one.

       The necklace given by my grandmother is the most valuable thing that I treasure most. This was given during my birth and was bought in Taiwan. Of all the siblings, I am the only one that has received something during birth. I was very lonely and disappointed that I cannot find my necklace anymore supposedly I am going to wear that because we have an occasion need to attend to. I was afraid to let my mom know that my necklace is missing but I still ask her maybe she is the one that hide it but she said she does not know where it is and then she scolded me for very long time. There is another thing that I value it was the letter that I received from my friends and I have been receiving the letter every special occasion but when I open my drawer there's no letter anymore I think my mom throw it without asking me the permission.

       One's must always know how to treasure the things that was given by your love's one because I'm sure that once you lost it you will regret it for the rest of your life.

Five things that I usually do after school

             Have you ever been late to arrived at home because you went out with your friends and your mother is scolding you because you are not focusing in your study? Everyone has its own interests because there are a lot of different people in this world like those who does not have social life just focusing in study and there are students who is happy go lucky.

              This are the 5 things that I usually do after school:
First- After I got home usually I am going to open my computer right away open my facebook account checking if I have some homework that I have to do and then I am going to eat dinner by myself because I usually got home late because of my school activities.

Second- Hanging out with my friends right after the school in Friday because we don't have a class on Saturday so we can go home a little bit late.

Third- Playing basketball at my friend's house because I like playing basketball this has been my hobby since I was a child.

Fourth- Watching Philippines Basketball Association every Wednesday and Friday cheering for my favorite team which is Global Port and Alaska.

Fifth- Doing my homework and my project at home.

                Being a college students these are the usually things that they do after school.

My experience in a hospital

           Have you ever experience being a patient in a hospital? we all know it is very expensive because we need to buy all the medicine that the Doctor prescribe and how inconvenient for our love's one because he/she have to take care of  you.

            There was an experience that I will never forget in my life. It happened in grade 4 when I was playing a basketball with my classmates during PE time unfortunately I broke my bone because I was trip down by my best friend  and our gym is not as good as other gym because our court is made out of cement. I will never forget the pain that I had during that time I was brought to the emergency room in the afternoon but I have to wait for the orthopedic doctor because I fracture my right hand. I was crying around that time because I cannot endure the pain anymore it hurt so much when I have to walk. The doctor said that I need to have an x-ray first to know if it's needed to have a surgery and the good news is that it is not necessarily anymore just putting a cement in my whole arm is already fine; he stretches my hand so that my hand will be straight and it hurt so much because he does not put anesthesia it took around 1 hour for him to finish it. The doctor said that every two weeks I have to visit him to check if my hands is fine and it took 4 months for me to recover and it takes a year for me to play basketball again.

            One's must know how to take care his body so that there will be no one that will be affected just to take care of you in the hospital.

Describe an unforgettable experience

           Do you have an unforgettable experience? I think everyone has an unforgettable experience. Experience is one of the most exciting things that happened in one's life. I can say that life is no fun if you did not experience all the things that you can do in life.

            I have an unforgettable experience that happened just 2 days ago. I went to school in Saturday because we have a practice for speech choir competition and it was finished around 6 pm; I and my friends decided to walk to Magallanes instead of riding a shuttle supposedly that we are going riding a Moa jeep due to heavy traffic both of us decided to ride a MRT up to Guadalupe and we decided to eat in Chowking because both of us are hungry after finish eating we seperate. I rode a jeep of Paco Taft after a few minutes I went to a sleep, I woke up when I felt that someone is touching my pocket I immediately think that the man next to me is a snatcher so even though I felt sleepy I did not sleep. We pass through the check point and the man in front of me shouted that the person's next to me is a snatcher so the police catch him and they also asked me to go to with them to the police station since I was the victim. I was nervous at that time because they are asking a lot of question to me and I was afraid that the suspect might recognized my face. The Chief Commander is asking me if I was going to demand that person but I cannot decide about that thing because I don't know anything about it so I decided to go home asks my mom to go with me.

           An unforgettable experience is not always good sometimes it happened in a bad way that you will never forget for the rest of your life.

My plans for summer

          Most probably that every student wants summer vacation in order for them to have a rest after having a stressful school year especially for college student like me. Each and everyone of us have a plans for the summer like parents who has a plan to have a vacation with their family and the students who are planning to have a summer job instead of staying at home doing nothing.

           I have a lot of plans that I wanted to do for this summer. I wanted to have an outing during holy week unfortunately I cannot go with my family in Bicol because I still have a class when they went there so I decided to go to Batangas with my friends instead of staying at home alone. Working at my grandmother's business is also my plan, I want to learn something new and maybe someday I can open a business same to her and earn some money for myself because I am sure that my father won't give me an allowance. I also have a plan of increasing my weight so that by next school year my body won't be this slim.

             Summer is always been the vacation of the student and this is the time that one's person can do the things that he/she wanted to do that she cannot do during the school year.

Foreign language instruction should begin in kindergarten. Discuss

                Kindergarten is also called a pre-school were all kids should start schooling. There are some international school who teach foreign language. There is an advantage of learning another languages. But it is advisable to start learning foreign language. They should build-first a strong foundation in learning English. But to those kids who are studying in Chinese school, they should start to learn Chinese language starting from pre-school. Foreign language is not easy to learn but with the determination of a person, he/she can learn it.

                 I am agreeing that foreign language instruction should begin in kindergarten because when I was a kid I was sent in Chinese school. It helps a lot to learn Chinese with the help of my parents. My mother used to speak to me in Chinese. For her, to learn our language can be useful in our society especially looking for a job. To be honest, there's a lot of Chinese people who don't know how to speak Chinese so this is the reason why I think that learning foreign language should begin in kindergarten and the teacher need to teach the student how to communicate using foreign language so that as the year past by they will be much fluent in speaking the language. I believe having another foreign language is an asset for me. Nowadays, the employer is looking for an applicant who can speak and write Chinese. Thanks to my mom who keep on practicing my Chinese so that I won't forget it. And I feel so proud that I know another foreign language. Wherever I go, I can use bilingual language in communicating. Another language that I'm interested to learn is Japanese. Japanese character has a similarity in Chinese character has a similarity in Chinese character so I think it would not hard for me to learn it. I think Japanese language should also be taught in kindergarten because knowing how to speak Japanese has a lot of benefits especially for those who are applying for a job.

                I therefore to conclude that foreign language instruction should begin in kindergarten. It will have a lot of benefits to the person and to its country. The economy of the country will improve if our people know how to speak their language; the foreign country will invest to our country and it will create a job opportunities to the citizen.

What did you like most to do when you were in elementary days?

             Elementary school students have an extraordinary capacity for learning. Being praise is very important because it gives courage and increases the confident of the student. Moreover, the most important thing that the elementary student want to do is to enjoy themselves talking and playing with their classmates will make them have a good time.

              Basketball is the thing that I want to do most when I was in elementary. I started playing basketball in grade 3 this started because my classmate invited me to play with them during physical education time and it was my first time playing it and I enjoyed it a lot so every Sunday we had a ball game against other year. Back then, each year we had an intramurals and I always participated but in grade 5 I was not able to participate because I had a broken bone in my right arms the doctor said that I cannot play basketball for 1 year and it is very hard for me just to just watch the game without playing and the only thing that I can do is to cheer and pray for them.

               Each student has different things that they want to do when they were in elementary days but I am sure that meeting new friends is one of the most like to do because they can have a new playmates, discusses stuff that they are interested in and about the school homework.

Have you ever had a broken bone?

          Bones make up our skeleton which is the framework of our body. It is the skeleton that gives this shape; muscles make the shape look nicer. Bones differ in size, shape and function. Bones contain minerals such as calcium, phosphorus and potassium. If a bone happen to break, it can repair itself

           I used to have a broken bone on my right arm when I was in elementary. It happen during our physical education period. We played basketball that time. I don't remember how I fall down on the ground, it happen so fast. I don't even know that my bone is broken until my classmate saw it and they help me to go to clinic. My mother rushed to school because the teacher called her and got worried when she saw it. I remembered the head teacher said that I must have a x-ray first to check if my bone is broken and after they saw the result they decided to send me to the nearest hospital and my mother kept on crying. She was so worried if in case it should be operated but thanks to lord the doctor only fixed my broken bone.

            Bones really needs a lot of calcium though accident can happen anytime but it cannot prevent it. If we encounter a broken bone, do not attempt to move any slight movement can make the injury worse. Whatever sports you are playing, try to be extra careful. always remember to give first aid to a person who is injured.

Money of my own

   Yes, all of of the people wants to have their own money especially for businessman or investor. If you have money of your own that's probably the first place you should look. You won't have to pay anybody back or considering that savings accounts pay a miniscule amount of interest, investing in your own business could get you a much higher return.

        In my mother's friend experience, she started working at very young age to support herself and her family. After working so many years; where all of her income goes? aside from supporting her family, the rest of her income goes to gambling, she doesn't even save a single cents. It is hard to start from the beginning, especially when you are not young anymore. I have learned a lesson from her that money is one significant factor that makes a person happy without money, how can we survive. We all work hard because of money, it's nice to feel to have my own house, can eat at least three times a day, can buy what I want. In short, I like to belong in a middle class family. By the time comes, I will handle my own money. First thing is to save more, spend little make plans on how I should handle my money. If my saving is enough, I can fulfill my first target. Step by step, It will be able to reach my goal in life.

        While still young, one's should know how to manage money. It is hard to budget an income if a person is already married. Money is the major problem of husband and wife. If the incomes is not enough, it can be the starting of an argument for both party.

Education is the single most factor in the development of a country. Do you Agree?

      You maybe wondering why most of the Elder says that education is very important because education can give one's person a better life and a good career in the future but this does not guarantee that education can give development to one's country. If education is the single most factor in the development of a country why there is still a country having a poor economy even though there is education.

        Education is important in everyone's life. It can helps a person to have a discipline in life and give him a guide from what are the right things to do and what he supposedly not to do. Having an education is not 100 percent sure that this person will become successful in life because it's up to him what kind of decisions that he has made. A person's life is not always certain even though he graduate from a good university he cannot guarantee that he will find a good job and the business of him will become successful. I have known a lot of people that has been successful in the field of business that did not have a chance to study in college because of financial problem like my grandfather who died few years ago, now it is my uncle and my father who are continuing his business. A successful business will be a lot of benefits to the country like government will have more funds because of the tax that we gonna pay is higher and the economy of the will improve.

       I think discipline is the most important factor in the development of a country. Let's say that this person is well educated but this does not mean that he is also well discipline. A government should be show a good example to the citizen they are the one that is handling the country if the government failed to manage the country for sure this country will have a lot of crisis. Who would follow the laws if the government official themselves are not following it. It will be a lot of benefits to a country if most of the people have a discipline; it can help in improving the economy, less crime rate and less pollution.

A dream that came true

      Each one of us have their own dreams who want to achieve it. There is no easy thing in this world. We should work hard for it. But sometimes faith is trying to fool us, no matter how hard a person try he/she can also feel failures in it. But, this doesn't mean we should stop of dreaming.

      For me, I keep on dreaming for my future and actually I have a lot of dreams that I want to achieve like finding my collegiate and to have a good career in the dear future. To have an own car and support my brother in their education so that the burdens of my parents will be lessen. By the time comes, when I can build my own family. I can give my children a better food, shelter, cloth and the most important is education. To be honest, there's still none these dreams that I have mention comes true but I don't loose hope on it. I'm still young and there is still a long way to walk. As long as I have faith to God and work hard in order to achieve my dreams and one day my dreams can comes true. When I was a kid I have a dream of becoming a soldier for our country but as I grew old I realize that I just want to become a successful businessman or have a good career in the field of Multimedia Arts. Back in my elementary days, I have a dream of becoming a varsity player when I reach high school. Fortunately, In first year after finish the tryout I was one of those few selected to become varsity player although I was just a reserved player I was very grateful because there are only 3 first year player that have been selected.

      Dreams need a full support from friends and relative. A dreams can come true if it is in your destiny. Only God knows what is best for us. Failure makes a person more stronger and better. And if one day, a dream came true in our lives, we are blessed by the Lord and keep continue dreaming.

My favorite subject

Every student has its own favorite subject; some of them like the subject because maybe when the teachers is discussing the students don't get bored and they find it interesting in this subject. I remember in high school the usually favorite subject of the student is Filipino or English and the most hated subject is math and science which most of the student have failed.

Back then in my elementary days history was my favorite subject because I love the way my teacher discussed and I don't get bored when she is discussing about the history of the country and its national hero. After I read the book together with the explanation of the teacher I have learned a lot about history of the Philippines.  Math is also my favorite subject because my teacher was kinda strict, she always give you a short amount of time for you to solve the problem that she had given and the way she explains help me a lot to understand the topic easier and I find it challenging because I have to think and analyze the given problem. I love playing sport like basketball, badminton, table tennis and volleyball. Playing sports can increase a person resistance and it can also help a person to become healthy this is the reason why Physical Education is also my favorite subject.

Now a days, some students find a hard time to study academic subject but when it comes to favorite subject it will only take a little time for them to learn it because they will always listen to the professor when discussing a topic and they will show interest on it.

Places where I have lived

Now a days, people are used to transfer from one city to another city maybe because of its financial status in life; they cannot afford to pay the rent anymore. Some children need to live in his/her relatives because his parents are going to abroad to work in order to earn more money for them to survive.

There are only 3 places where I have lived. The first place where I have lived is Taipei in Taiwan it is a beautiful place because you will seldom see a smoke and garbage in the street. Most of them have self-disciplined and following the laws that government have made this is one of the reason why in Taiwan the environment is pretty. The place where we lived is pretty much convenient for all of us because the school is near in my house; it has a grocery store for us to buy something that we need. I remember a restaurant we use to eat every morning with my father now I'm wondering if that restaurant is still in there because it is been special for me and I have not been there for 13 years. The second place is Tondo. I was surprised when I arrived in my house because it is the opposite place where I use to live in Taiwan; there's an air pollution and you can saw garbage everywhere especially in Divisoria. 3 years ago, we transfer to Paco, Manila which is the place where I lived now because my father wants to open a business in there.

People cannot predict what will happen to the future because of the problem they may have encounter in life like financial problem, family problem so some of them are being force to leave the place where they are use to lived.
